I saw the Antonov 225 take off at Farnborough years ago. I swear the thing didn’t even accelerate. It just lumbered down the runway at a gentle speed and then somehow it was in the air. Laws of physics were being bent, I’m sure of it.

I saw the image on the FP and went “what’s so massive about a truck?” Then I clicked on the post to see the larger image, and notice the Antonov livery and the 737 next to it, and went “oh, right, humongous Antonov is humongous.”
